Cody has lived with his family in Mona since 2006. He and his wife just celebrated their 36th wedding anniversary this month and together they have raised five awesome kids and have five perfect grandchildren with another one on the way!

Cody has served as a Mona City Council Member, Mona Precinct Chair, Juab County Republican Chair, and a member of the Republican Party State Central Committee.

All of which has given him the experience, unique perspective, and understanding of the proper role of government.

His secret for successful governance is based partly on something Mia Love shared with him years ago after winning her U.S. Congressional seat:

I've had a wonderful life!

I've ridden the Internet express my entire career and met a lot of wonderful people and been to incredible places along the way. I've been bestowed the rank of Software Ninjaneer and have enjoyed director-level positions and the people I've worked with.

Lately I find myself completely content in rural Utah feeding my pigs and chickens (the real ones - not the scrum ones :) As I have just wrapped up a 4 1/2 year contract as a LAMP Stack developer for Apple on a team from Coopertino, Singapore, London, and Austin. It was an amazing experience and the highlight of my career so far!

While originally from Orem, my professional career began in San Ramon, California when I got my first 'real' job at PacBell and earned the nickname Codenheimer from my manager (and great man). It stuck, and I've identified with it ever since. I think it encompasses the seriously passionate approach I've taken in all my duties and responsibilities.

I'm a little on the OCD side (excuse me: CDO). And I'm a Lego Maniac and a datafreakazoid. I LOVE DATA! No - not the Star Trek Guy (although I am a casual Trekkie and yeah - that Data was cool too)

I can whip up a pretty wicked database including USEFUL documentation and couple it to frameworks including one I developed by my onesie that I affectionately refer to as Perficio - that's Latin for: to perfect, accomplish or bring about.

I'm a code junkie and know a few systems and languages including Win Server, Linux, MySQL, Oracle, PHP, ColdFusion, Java, Javascript, Dutch (oh wait - that's not a program language but I do know it pretty well - I lived in Nederland and België for a while - The people were wonderful and the cheese was tasty)

I recently invented a new style of beehive called the "bee barrel" and I'm pretty excited about going worldwide with that venture. You can check it out at https://www.beescientific.net.
Yeah - I'm kind of proud of it.

I was awarded patents from U.S. and China in October and December 2020 and am currently working with an awesome injection molder in Shenzhen, China to get things ready for manufacturing.

Did I mention I've had a wonderful life?

I thank Thomas Birdsall and Mike Colborn for giving me a chance to let my career find me. And boy did it find me! It's been an incredible ride!
